श्रीभगवानुवाच । एष गौर्या पुरा कृत्वा निजांगोद्वर्तनं कृतः । निर्मलेन कृतः पश्चान्नराकारश्चतुर्भुजः
śrībhagavānuvāca | eṣa gauryā purā kṛtvā nijāṃgodvartanaṃ kṛtaḥ | nirmalena kṛtaḥ paścānnarākāraścaturbhujaḥ
พระผู้มีพระภาคตรัสว่า “กาลก่อน พระแม่คาวรีได้ทำเนื้อแป้งจากการขัดถูพระวรกายของพระนาง แล้วปั้นเขาขึ้น ต่อมาจากสารอันบริสุทธิ์นั้น เขาจึงบังเกิด—มีรูปมนุษย์และมีสี่กร”
