साऽब्रवीन्नीयमानाऽथ वसिष्ठं किं त्वया विभो । दत्ताहमस्य नृपतेर्यन्मां नयति यत्नतः
sā'bravīnnīyamānā'tha vasiṣṭhaṃ kiṃ tvayā vibho | dattāhamasya nṛpateryanmāṃ nayati yatnataḥ
ครั้นเมื่อถูกพาไป นางกล่าวแก่พระวสิษฐะว่า “ข้าแต่องค์ผู้เป็นใหญ่ ท่านได้กระทำสิ่งใดเล่า? ท่านได้มอบข้าพเจ้าแก่พระราชานี้หรือ จึงพาข้าพเจ้าไปด้วยความพยายามยิ่งนัก?”
