पद्मज उवाच । श्राद्धकाले तु विप्राणां भोज्यपात्रेषु कृत्स्नशः । भस्मरेखां प्रदास्यंति ह्येतैस्तत्त्याज्यमेव हि
padmaja uvāca | śrāddhakāle tu viprāṇāṃ bhojyapātreṣu kṛtsnaśaḥ | bhasmarekhāṃ pradāsyaṃti hyetaistattyājyameva hi
ปัทมชะ (พรหมา) ตรัสว่า: “ครั้นถึงกาลศราทธะ เหล่าสัตว์เหล่านี้จักขีดเส้นเถ้าถ่านล้อมรอบภาชนะภัตตาหารของพราหมณ์ทั้งหลาย; ฉะนั้น ในกรณีของพวกเขา พึงหลีกเว้นอาหารหรือการจัดนั้นโดยแท้”
