ब्राह्मणा ऊचुः । यद्येतच्छुणुते राजा वाक्यमीर्ष्यापरायणः । तत्सर्वेषां वधं कुर्याद्विप्राणामन्यथा भवेत्
brāhmaṇā ūcuḥ | yadyetacchuṇute rājā vākyamīrṣyāparāyaṇaḥ | tatsarveṣāṃ vadhaṃ kuryādviprāṇāmanyathā bhavet
พราหมณ์ทั้งหลายกล่าวว่า: “หากพระราชาผู้หมกมุ่นด้วยความริษยาได้ยินถ้อยคำนี้ พระองค์อาจประหารพราหมณ์พวกเราทั้งหมด; มิฉะนั้นผลย่อมเป็นไปต่างออกไป”
