इति श्रीस्कान्दे महापुराण एकाशीतिसाहस्र्यां संहितायां षष्ठे नागर खण्डे हाटकेश्वरक्षेत्रमाहात्म्ये सावित्र्या यज्ञागमनकालिकोत्पाताद्यपशकुनोद्भववर्णनंनामैकनवत्युत्तरशततमोऽध्यायः

ดังนี้ ในศรีสกันทมหาปุราณะ ภายในสํหิตาแปดหมื่นหนึ่งพันโศลก ในนาครขันฑะที่หก ในมหาตมยะของเขตศักดิ์สิทธิ์หาฏเกศวร บทชื่อว่า “พรรณนาอัปมงคลและอุตปาตที่บังเกิดในกาลที่นางสาวิตรีเสด็จสู่ยัญพิธี” อันเป็นบทที่ ๑๙๑ ก็สิ้นสุดลงเพียงนี้
