सूत उवाच । शृण्वन्तु मुनयः सर्वे माहात्म्यमिदमुत्तमम् । येन संश्रुतमात्रेण नश्येत्पापं दिनोद्भवम्
sūta uvāca | śṛṇvantu munayaḥ sarve māhātmyamidamuttamam | yena saṃśrutamātreṇa naśyetpāpaṃ dinodbhavam
สูตะกล่าวว่า: “ขอให้เหล่ามุนีทั้งปวงจงสดับมหาตมยะอันประเสริฐนี้ เพราะเพียงได้ยินเท่านั้น บาปที่เกิดขึ้นวันแล้ววันเล่าก็ย่อมสลายไป”
