तथास्य पत्न्यास्तत्पापं जानंत्या यत्तयोदितम् । मत्पित्रा ब्राह्मणैर्दत्तोऽयं पुरा वह्निसंनिधौ

tathāsya patnyāstatpāpaṃ jānaṃtyā yattayoditam | matpitrā brāhmaṇairdatto'yaṃ purā vahnisaṃnidhau

ฉันนั้นแล บาปนั้นย่อมแตะต้องภรรยาของเขาด้วย เพราะนางรู้ถ้อยคำที่พวกเขากล่าวไว้ “พิธี/วัตรนี้ ครั้งก่อนบิดาของข้าพเจ้าได้มอบไว้ร่วมกับพราหมณ์ทั้งหลาย ณ เบื้องหน้าพระอัคนีอันศักดิ์สิทธิ์”
