ครั้นแล้ว พราหมณ์ผู้ประเสริฐได้ถวายทานแก่เหล่านักรำ และโดยเฉพาะแก่คนยากไร้กับคนตาบอด เป็นภักษาหาร—เครื่องบูชาปรุงสุกอันประณีต—พร้อมทั้งผ้านุ่งห่มด้วย
