Puṣpa (deduced from immediate dialogue context; Bhāskara speaks explicitly in 39)

Scene: A petitioner before a deva (or Indra-like sura-īśvara) requests a fixed transformative form; the moment of taking a ‘second’ object and casting it back is shown as a ritual gesture triggering metamorphosis.

FAQs

Even extraordinary powers should be sought with clarity and steadiness—without wavering (avikalpa), implying disciplined intent rather than confusion.

This verse sits within the Nāgarakhaṇḍa’s Tīrthamāhātmya framework, but this particular line focuses on the mechanism of a boon/siddhi rather than naming a tīrtha.

No direct ritual is prescribed here; it introduces an action involving a ‘second’ guṭikā used to effect a change of form.
