आदित्यव्रतसंज्ञाद्यैः सामभिर्दृढभक्तिभाक् । क्षुरिकामंत्रपूर्वैश्च तथैवाथर्वणोद्भवैः

ādityavratasaṃjñādyaiḥ sāmabhirdṛḍhabhaktibhāk | kṣurikāmaṃtrapūrvaiśca tathaivātharvaṇodbhavaiḥ

ด้วยศรัทธามั่นคง เขาสรรเสริญด้วยบทสวดสาเมนที่รู้จักกันในนามเช่น ‘อาทิตยวรตะ’ และยังสวดมนต์ที่ขึ้นต้นด้วย ‘กษุริกา’ ตลอดจนมนต์ที่สืบมาจากคัมภีร์อถรรวะด้วย
