tamuvāca vibho pāhi pāhi pāparddhikādatha | tapasā kiṃ ca dharmeṇa maunena ca japena ca

Translation

นางกล่าวว่า “ข้าแต่พระผู้เป็นเจ้า โปรดคุ้มครองข้าพเจ้า—โปรดช่วยให้พ้นจากเคราะห์กรรมอันบาปนี้! หากผู้หวาดกลัวมิได้ที่พึ่งแล้ว ตบะ ธรรม ความสงัด หรือการสวดมนต์จะมีประโยชน์อันใด?”
