श्रीशुकदेव उवाच । भावेन भावितमहातपसां मुनीनां तिष्ठन्ति तावदखिलानि तपःफलानि । यत्ते निकाशशरणाः पुरुषा न जातु पश्यंत्यसज्जनमुखानि सुखं तदेव
śrīśukadeva uvāca | bhāvena bhāvitamahātapasāṃ munīnāṃ tiṣṭhanti tāvadakhilāni tapaḥphalāni | yatte nikāśaśaraṇāḥ puruṣā na jātu paśyaṃtyasajjanamukhāni sukhaṃ tadeva
พระศรีศุกเทวตรัสว่า: ตราบใดที่เหล่ามุนีผู้มีตบะยิ่งใหญ่ยังดำรงอยู่ด้วยภาวะอันศักดิ์สิทธิ์ในดวงใจ ผลแห่งตบะทั้งปวงย่อมตั้งมั่นไม่คลอนแคลน และความสุขของท่านก็คือสิ่งนี้เอง—ว่าบุรุษผู้พึ่งพาความพิจารณาอันบริสุทธิ์ (นิกาศะ) จะไม่ต้องเห็นหน้าคนพาลเลยแม้กาลใด
