ครั้นเมื่อเรื่องราวสิ้นสุดลง ณ กาลหนึ่ง พระราชาได้ถวายพรตามแบบเวท แล้วเหล่ามหาฤๅษีผู้เปี่ยมด้วยความใคร่รู้จึงทูลถามพระองค์
