brahmovāca | anena tava vākyasya proktaṃ vākyaṃ hare yataḥ | vāstvetaditi yasmācca tasmādvāstu bhaviṣyati

พระพรหมตรัสว่า: “โอ้พระหริ เพราะถ้อยคำของท่านนี้ได้ประกาศวาจาว่า ‘นี่คือวาสตุ’ ฉะนั้นสิ่งนี้จักได้ชื่อว่า ‘วาสตุ’ โดยแท้”
