evaṃ tayoḥ pravadatoranyonyaṃ bhūmipālayoḥ | garttātīrthātsamāyātā brāhmaṇāḥ kautukānvitāḥ | śrutvā bhūmipatiṃ prāptaṃ ciraṃtanaguruṃ śubham

เมื่อกษัตริย์ทั้งสองสนทนากันอยู่ดังนั้น พราหมณ์ทั้งหลายผู้เปี่ยมด้วยความใคร่รู้ก็เดินทางมาจากคฤตตา-ตีรถะ ครั้นได้ยินว่าพระราชา—ครูโบราณผู้เป็นมงคล—มาถึงแล้ว จึงพากันมาชุมนุม ณ ที่นั้น
