अथ तं वीक्ष्य संसिद्धं कुमन्त्रेणापि तस्करम् । ते विप्रा विस्मयाविष्टाः कृपाविष्टा विशेषतः

atha taṃ vīkṣya saṃsiddhaṃ kumantreṇāpi taskaram | te viprā vismayāviṣṭāḥ kṛpāviṣṭā viśeṣataḥ

ครั้นแล้วเมื่อเห็นโจรผู้นั้นสำเร็จฤทธิ์โดยสมบูรณ์ แม้ด้วยมนตร์ที่บกพร่อง พราหมณ์ทั้งหลายก็อัศจรรย์ใจ และยิ่งนักก็เอ็นดูกรุณาเป็นพิเศษ
