सूत उवाच । श्वेतद्वीपः समानीतो विष्णुना प्रभविष्णुना । तत्क्षेत्रे कलिभीतेन यथा शौक्ल्यं न संत्यजेत्
sūta uvāca | śvetadvīpaḥ samānīto viṣṇunā prabhaviṣṇunā | tatkṣetre kalibhītena yathā śauklyaṃ na saṃtyajet
สูตะกล่าวว่า “ศเวตทวีปถูกพระวิษณุ ผู้ทรงฤทธิ์ยิ่ง นำมาสถิตไว้ที่นี่ เพื่อว่าในเขตศักดิ์สิทธิ์นั้น ด้วยความเกรงกลัวกาลี จะไม่ละทิ้งความขาวผ่อง (ความบริสุทธิ์) ของตน”
