स्वयमेव महादेवस्ततः शक्रमुवाच ह । केदारयामि मे शीघ्रं ब्रूहि सर्वं सुरोत्तम । दैत्यानामथ सर्वेषां रूपेणानेन वासव

svayameva mahādevastataḥ śakramuvāca ha | kedārayāmi me śīghraṃ brūhi sarvaṃ surottama | daityānāmatha sarveṣāṃ rūpeṇānena vāsava

แล้วมหาเทพตรัสแก่ศักระว่า “โอ้ผู้ประเสริฐในหมู่เทวะ จงบอกเราทั้งหมดโดยเร็ว โอ้วาสวะ ในรูปนี้เองเราจักผ่าและปราบเหล่าไทตยะทั้งสิ้น”
