ऋषय ऊचुः । कथं सन्तोषितो ब्रह्मा त्रिजातेन महात्मना । कर्मकांडं कथं भिन्नं कृतं तेन महात्मना । सर्वं विस्तरतो ब्रूहि परं कौतूहलं हि नः

ṛṣaya ūcuḥ | kathaṃ santoṣito brahmā trijātena mahātmanā | karmakāṃḍaṃ kathaṃ bhinnaṃ kṛtaṃ tena mahātmanā | sarvaṃ vistarato brūhi paraṃ kautūhalaṃ hi naḥ

เหล่าฤๅษีกล่าวว่า “มหาตมะตรีชาตะได้ทำให้พระพรหมพอพระทัยด้วยตรีชาตะอย่างไร? และท่านได้จำแนกส่วนแห่งกรรมกาณฑ์ (พิธีกรรม) อย่างไร? ขอจงกล่าวให้พิสดารเถิด เพราะความใคร่รู้ของเรายิ่งนัก”
