ท่ามกลางเหล่ามุนีผู้ยิ่งใหญ่ซึ่งพำนัก ณ อาศรมสุทีรถะนั้น มีสตรีผู้เลื่องนามว่า ทมยันตี ใบหน้างามดุจดวงจันทร์เต็มดวง
