एवं ते मन्त्रिणः प्रोच्य ततस्तस्य कलेवरम् । लक्ष्मणस्य विलप्यौच्चैश्चन्दनोशीरकुंकुमैः

evaṃ te mantriṇaḥ procya tatastasya kalevaram | lakṣmaṇasya vilapyauccaiścandanośīrakuṃkumaiḥ

ครั้นกล่าวดังนี้แล้ว เหล่าเสนาบดีจึงเข้าไปยังสรีระของพระลักษมณ์ คร่ำครวญเสียงดัง แล้วชโลมด้วยจันทน์ อุศีระ และกุงกุมะ
