śiva uvāca | ajeyo'haṃ viśālākṣi tava nāstyatra saṃśayaḥ | ahaṃkāreṇa yatproktaṃ tattvatastadvimṛśyatām
Śiva
Tirtha: Kedāra / Kedāranātha
Type: kshetra
Scene: Śiva speaks calmly yet firmly to the wide-eyed Devī, asserting his unconquerable nature while advising reflection on pride-born speech; the mood is instructive, not harsh.
Pride distorts speech; dharma requires truth-based reflection (tattva-vicāra) even amid divine play.
Kedāra is the overarching sacred setting of this khaṇḍa; this verse focuses on inner dharma (humility and discernment).
None; the instruction is contemplative—‘reflect in truth’ (vimṛśyatām).
