एवं प्रहस्य रुचिरं गिरिजा तु शंभुं सा प्रेक्ष्या नर्मवचसा स तयाभिभूतः । देहीति म सकलमंगलमंगलेश यद्धारितं स्मररिपो वचसानुमोदितम्

evaṃ prahasya ruciraṃ girijā tu śaṃbhuṃ sā prekṣyā narmavacasā sa tayābhibhūtaḥ | dehīti ma sakalamaṃgalamaṃgaleśa yaddhāritaṃ smararipo vacasānumoditam

ดังนั้น คิริชาผู้ยิ้มอย่างงดงามได้ทอดพระเนตรศัมภู และด้วยวาจาหยอกเย้าอ่อนหวานก็ทำให้พระองค์ยอมจำนน นางกล่าวว่า “โปรดประทานแก่ข้าพเจ้าเถิด โอ้พระมังคเลศ ผู้เป็นเจ้าแห่งมงคลทั้งปวง โอ้ผู้เป็นศัตรูแห่งสมระ สิ่งที่พระองค์วางเป็นเดิมพันและที่พระวาจาของพระองค์เองได้ทรงรับรองไว้”
