संसृतिः कल्पनामूलं कल्पना ह्यमृतोपमा । यैः कल्पना परित्यक्ता ते यांति परमां गतिम्

saṃsṛtiḥ kalpanāmūlaṃ kalpanā hyamṛtopamā | yaiḥ kalpanā parityaktā te yāṃti paramāṃ gatim

สังสารวัฏมีรากอยู่ที่การปรุงแต่งในใจ; การปรุงแต่งนั้นแท้จริงดุจอมฤต—หวานและชวนหลง. แต่ผู้ใดละการปรุงแต่งนั้น ผู้นั้นย่อมถึงคติอันสูงสุด
