तदोवाच शिवः साक्षाद्देवानामिह श्रृण्वताम् । रेतो विसृज्यतां योनौ तदाग्निः प्रहसन्नवि
tadovāca śivaḥ sākṣāddevānāmiha śrṛṇvatām | reto visṛjyatāṃ yonau tadāgniḥ prahasannavi
แล้วพระศิวะตรัสเองต่อหน้าทวยเทพที่กำลังสดับอยู่ ณ ที่นั้นว่า “จงปล่อยเรตัสลงสู่ครรภ์ (โยนี) เถิด” ครั้นนั้นอัคนีก็หัวเราะขึ้น
