वाचि क्षुरो नावनीतं हृदयं हि द्विजन्मनाम् । प्रकुप्यंति प्रसीदंति क्षणेनापि प्रसादिताः

vāci kṣuro nāvanītaṃ hṛdayaṃ hi dvijanmanām | prakupyaṃti prasīdaṃti kṣaṇenāpi prasāditāḥ

ในวาจา พวกทวิชะอาจคมดุจมีดโกน แต่ดวงใจของท่านมิได้ไร้ความอ่อนนุ่มดุจเนย ท่านอาจกริ้วและอาจสงบได้; ครั้นเมื่อทรงพอพระทัยแล้ว แม้เพียงชั่วขณะก็กลับมีพระกรุณา
