ततश्चिरमुपास्याथ दिवं यातिश्चिरं मुनिः । वयं त्वेवं ब्रुवन्तोऽपि मोहेनैवं प्रतारिताः

tataściramupāsyātha divaṃ yātiściraṃ muniḥ | vayaṃ tvevaṃ bruvanto'pi mohenaivaṃ pratāritāḥ

ครั้นแล้วมุนีบำเพ็ญอุปาสนาเนิ่นนาน จึงไปสู่สวรรค์เป็นกาลยาวนาน แต่พวกเรา—แม้กล่าวเช่นนี้—ก็ถูกโมหะลวงให้หลงผิดดังนี้
