येषामेवंविधाबुद्धिरस्माभिः किं कृतं त्विदम् । अथ वा नो न दोषोऽस्ति पशवो हि वयं यतः
yeṣāmevaṃvidhābuddhirasmābhiḥ kiṃ kṛtaṃ tvidam | atha vā no na doṣo'sti paśavo hi vayaṃ yataḥ
“ผู้ที่มีปัญญาเช่นนี้ แท้จริงแล้วจะเรียกว่าเรา ‘ได้ทำอะไร’ กันเล่า? หรือว่า—บางทีเราอาจไม่ผิด เพราะท้ายที่สุดเราก็เป็นเพียงสัตว์เดรัจฉาน (ถูกขับด้วยสัญชาตญาณ) เท่านั้น”
