किं मां जनकमाप्यापि त्वं रोदिषि मुहुर्मुहुः । श्रुत्वेति पृथुकः प्राह यथोक्तं परमेष्ठिना
kiṃ māṃ janakamāpyāpi tvaṃ rodiṣi muhurmuhuḥ | śrutveti pṛthukaḥ prāha yathoktaṃ parameṣṭhinā
“แม้ได้เรามาเป็นบิดาแล้ว เหตุใดเจ้าจึงร่ำไห้ซ้ำแล้วซ้ำเล่า?” ครั้นได้ยินดังนั้น ผู้มีนามว่า ปฤถุกะ ก็กล่าวตอบตามที่ปรเมษฐิน (พระพรหม) ได้ตรัสไว้
