Śiva (Devadeva)
Tirtha: Viśvakarma-liṅga (Kāśī)
Type: temple
Listener: Viśvakarman
Scene: Śiva (Devadeva) solemnly grants the boon: worshippers of Viśvakarman’s liṅga will gain prosperity and be initiated toward nirvāṇa; the liṅga glows as a focal axis between worldly and transcendent realms.
In Kāśī’s sacred sphere, Śiva’s grace unites worldly well-being (samṛddhi) with the highest goal (nirvāṇa) for sincere Liṅga worshippers.
Kāśī (especially the Ānandavana context), where worship of the established Liṅga is promised exceptional fruits.
Liṅga-samarcana (devotional worship) of the consecrated Liṅga, yielding both prosperity and liberation-oriented consecration (nirvāṇa-dīkṣā).
