उवाच च प्रसन्नोस्मि महाक्रोधन तापस । वरयस्व वरः कस्ते मया देयो विशंकितः
uvāca ca prasannosmi mahākrodhana tāpasa | varayasva varaḥ kaste mayā deyo viśaṃkitaḥ
แล้วพระผู้เป็นเจ้าตรัสว่า “เราพอใจแล้ว โอ้ดาบสผู้มีโทสะใหญ่ จงเลือกพรเถิด—เจ้าปรารถนาพรใดให้เราประทาน อย่าได้ลังเล”
