यं न वेदा विदुः सम्यङ्न च तौ वेदपूरुषौ । ततोपि वरयोग्योस्मि तन्नाथ प्रार्थयाम्यहम्
yaṃ na vedā viduḥ samyaṅna ca tau vedapūruṣau | tatopi varayogyosmi tannātha prārthayāmyaham
“ผู้ซึ่งแม้พระเวทก็ไม่อาจรู้ได้โดยครบถ้วน และแม้ ‘บุรุษแห่งพระเวท’ ทั้งสองก็ไม่รู้ถึง; ถึงกระนั้น ข้าแต่พระนาถ ข้าพเจ้าก็ยังสมควรทูลขอพร ดังนั้นข้าพเจ้าจึงขอกราบทูล”
