เมื่อยอมรับพระอาทิเกศวะว่าเป็นครูผู้ยิ่ง วิวัสวาน (สุริยะ) จึงเฝ้าปรนนิบัติอยู่ ณ ที่นั้น; แม้บัดนี้ก็ยังยืนอยู่ทางทิศเหนือของพระอาทิเกศวะ
