महिष उवाच । चंडकोप महावीर्य युद्ध्यस्वैनां दुरात्मिकाम् । तथास्त्विति स चोक्त्वाथ चंडकोपः प्रतापवान्
mahiṣa uvāca | caṃḍakopa mahāvīrya yuddhyasvaināṃ durātmikām | tathāstviti sa coktvātha caṃḍakopaḥ pratāpavān
มหิษะกล่าวว่า: “โอ้ จัณฑโกปะผู้มีเดชยิ่ง จงรบกับสตรีผู้มีจิตชั่วผู้นี้เถิด” เขาตอบว่า “เป็นดังนั้น” แล้วจัณฑโกปะผู้ทรงฤทธิ์ก็รุดหน้า
