महिषासुरमायांतं नखैरेनं व्यदारयत् । चंडिकापि ततः क्रुद्धा वधे तस्याकरोन्मतिम्

mahiṣāsuramāyāṃtaṃ nakhairenaṃ vyadārayat | caṃḍikāpi tataḥ kruddhā vadhe tasyākaronmatim

ครั้นมหิษาสุระพุ่งเข้ามาด้วยมายา สิงห์ก็ฉีกเขาด้วยกรงเล็บของตน แล้วพระจัณฑิกาผู้เดือดดาลก็ทรงตั้งพระทัยจะประหารเขา
