vyāsaputrāddharikathāṃ śrutavānbhaktipūrvakam | arakṣitvā nṛpaṃ taṃ tvaṃ vacasā takṣakasya yat

แม้ท่านจะได้สดับเรื่องราวศักดิ์สิทธิ์แห่งพระหริจากบุตรของฤษีวยาสะด้วยศรัทธาภักติ แต่ท่านกลับมิได้คุ้มครองพระราชานั้น เพราะวาจาอันเป็นคำสาปที่เกี่ยวเนื่องกับทักษกะ
