ज्ञात्वा तु पुत्रवृत्तांतं नन्दस्तस्य पिता तदा । पुत्रमादाय तरसा जैमिनेरन्तिकं ययौ । तस्मै निवेदयामास पुत्रवृत्तान्तमादितः
jñātvā tu putravṛttāṃtaṃ nandastasya pitā tadā | putramādāya tarasā jaiminerantikaṃ yayau | tasmai nivedayāmāsa putravṛttāntamāditaḥ
ครั้นทราบเรื่องราวของบุตรแล้ว นันทะผู้เป็นบิดาจึงรีบอุ้มบุตรไปยังสำนักของไชมินี และได้กราบทูลเล่าเรื่องราวของบุตรนั้นตั้งแต่ต้นโดยพิสดาร
