अमंगलेभ्यः सर्वेभ्यो विधवा स्यादमंगला । विधवादर्शनात्सिद्धिः क्वापि जातु न जायते

amaṃgalebhyaḥ sarvebhyo vidhavā syādamaṃgalā | vidhavādarśanātsiddhiḥ kvāpi jātu na jāyate

ในบรรดาสิ่งอัปมงคลทั้งปวง หญิงหม้ายถูกประกาศว่าเป็นอัปมงคล; เพียงได้เห็นหญิงหม้าย ความสำเร็จก็กล่าวกันว่าไม่บังเกิดขึ้น ณ ที่ใดเลย—ดังที่บทนี้อ้างไว้
