śārdūlena kapīṃdrāṇāṃ sārāsāropavarṇanam | trayodaśyādyamāṃte ca laṃkāyāṃ divasaistribhiḥ

Translation

ณ กรุงลงกา ตั้งแต่วันขึ้น ๑๓ ค่ำต่อเนื่องสามวัน ศารทูละได้พรรณนาแก่จอมทัพวานรทั้งหลายถึงสิ่งที่เป็นสาระและมิใช่สาระ แยกแก่นแท้ออกจากเพียงภาพลวงตา
