ब्रह्मोवाच । दास्यामि सर्वयज्ञेषु विभागं सुरवर्द्धके । सोमे त्वं प्रथमं वीर पूज्यसे श्रुतिकोविदैः
brahmovāca | dāsyāmi sarvayajñeṣu vibhāgaṃ suravarddhake | some tvaṃ prathamaṃ vīra pūjyase śrutikovidaiḥ
พระพรหมตรัสว่า “โอ้ผู้เพิ่มพูนหมู่เทวะ เราจักกำหนดส่วนอันควรแก่เจ้าในยัญพิธีทั้งปวง โอ้โสมะ ผู้กล้า ในหมู่นักปราชญ์ผู้รู้ศรุติ (พระเวท) เจ้าย่อมได้รับการบูชาก่อนเป็นอันดับแรก”
