mahādhanasya śāṃtasya sadā rājasakhasya ca | yāñcābhaṃgabhayāttasya tāṃ kanyāṃ pradadau pitā

เพราะเขามั่งคั่งยิ่ง สงบเสงี่ยม และเป็นสหายของพระราชาอยู่เสมอ บิดาของธิดาเกรงความอัปยศจากการปฏิเสธคำขอ จึงยกบุตรีนั้นให้แก่เขา
