राजोवाच । कृतार्थं मां कुरु गुरो संप्राप्तं करुणार्द्रधीः । शैवीं पंचाक्षरीं विद्यामुपदेष्टुं त्वमर्हसि

rājovāca | kṛtārthaṃ māṃ kuru guro saṃprāptaṃ karuṇārdradhīḥ | śaivīṃ paṃcākṣarīṃ vidyāmupadeṣṭuṃ tvamarhasi

พระราชาตรัสว่า: ข้าแต่คุรุเทวะ โปรดทำให้ชีวิตข้าพเจ้าสำเร็จสมบูรณ์เถิด ด้วยพระทัยอ่อนโยนด้วยกรุณา ท่านได้มาถึงที่นี่แล้ว; ฉะนั้นท่านสมควรประทานอุปเทศวิทยาปัญจाक्षรีแห่งไศวะอันศักดิ์สิทธิ์แก่ข้าพเจ้า
