īśvara uvāca | pannaga tvaṃ mahābāho revāṃ gaccha śubhaṃkarīm | yāmye tasyāstaṭe puṇye snānaṃ kuru yathāvidhi
Īśvara/Śiva
Tirtha: Revā (Narmadā) — yāmya-taṭa snāna-sthāna
Type: ghat
Listener: Vāsuki
Scene: Śiva instructs Vāsuki to go to Revā and bathe on the southern sacred bank; the river is envisioned as a goddess-like presence.
Śiva directs the seeker toward a concrete dharmic remedy: approaching a sacred river-tīrtha with proper observance to cleanse sin and restore spiritual standing.
Revā (Narmadā) is explicitly glorified—especially her southern holy bank (yāmya-taṭa) as a place of purification.
Snāna (ritual bathing) at Revā’s southern sacred bank, to be performed yathāvidhi (according to prescribed rite).
