kārpāsaṃ yāmyabhāgaṃ tu navanītaṃ tu nairṛte | paścime saptadhānyāni vāyavye taṃdulāḥ smṛtāḥ

ทิศใต้พึงวางฝ้าย; ทิศตะวันตกเฉียงใต้ (ไนฤต) พึงวางเนยสด. ทิศตะวันตกพึงตั้งธัญพืชทั้งเจ็ด และทิศตะวันตกเฉียงเหนือ (วายุพยะ) ทรงกำหนดให้วางข้าวสาร.
