शबर्युवाच । नाहारं चिन्तयाम्यद्य मुक्त्वा देवं वरानने । देवकार्यं विना भद्रे नान्या बुद्धिः प्रवर्तते
śabaryuvāca | nāhāraṃ cintayāmyadya muktvā devaṃ varānane | devakāryaṃ vinā bhadre nānyā buddhiḥ pravartate
ศบรีกล่าวว่า “ข้าแต่พระนางผู้พักตร์งาม วันนี้ข้ามิได้คำนึงถึงอาหารของตน ละสิ่งทั้งปวงไว้ นอกจากองค์เทพเจ้าเท่านั้น โอ้ท่านผู้ประเสริฐ จิตปัญญาของข้ามิหันไปสิ่งอื่น นอกจากการปรนนิบัติพระเป็นเจ้า”
