Transliteration

tataḥ piturmatenaiva gaṅgātīraṃ gatā satī | avagāhya taṭe dve tu gaṅgāyāḥ sa narādhipa

Translation

แล้วนางผู้มีศีลนั้นก็ไปยังฝั่งแม่น้ำคงคา ตามคำแนะนำของบิดาแต่เพียงอย่างเดียว ครั้นลงอวคาหะ (อาบชำระ) ในคงคาแล้ว โอ้ราชาแห่งมนุษย์ นางพำนักอยู่ ณ สองฝั่งแห่งคงคา
