วันเพ็ญเดือนการ์ตติกะ และวันเพ็ญเดือนมาฆะด้วย; ติถีที่สามของเดือนไวศาขะ; และวันเพ็ญเดือนไจตร รวมทั้งโดยเฉพาะวันเพ็ญเดือนชัยษฐะ—ล้วนเป็นกาลอันศักดิ์สิทธิ์เช่นกัน
