ब्राह्मणः क्षत्रियो वैश्यः शूद्रो वा नृपसत्तम । विहितं कर्म कुर्वाणः स गच्छेत्परमां गतिम्

brāhmaṇaḥ kṣatriyo vaiśyaḥ śūdro vā nṛpasattama | vihitaṃ karma kurvāṇaḥ sa gacchetparamāṃ gatim

ข้าแต่มหากษัตริย์ผู้ประเสริฐ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นพราหมณ์ กษัตริย์ ไวศยะ หรือศูทร—ผู้ใดปฏิบัติกรรมที่บัญญัติไว้ตามหน้าที่ของตน ผู้นั้นย่อมถึงคติอันสูงสุด
