रूपयौवनसम्पन्नं दृष्ट्वा तं पृथिवीपतिम् । दिव्योपभोगसम्पन्नं प्रार्थयामास नर्मदा

rūpayauvanasampannaṃ dṛṣṭvā taṃ pṛthivīpatim | divyopabhogasampannaṃ prārthayāmāsa narmadā

ครั้นนรมทาได้เห็นพระราชาผู้เป็นเจ้าแห่งแผ่นดิน ผู้เพียบพร้อมด้วยรูปโฉมและวัยหนุ่ม อีกทั้งอุดมด้วยสุขทิพย์และความรุ่งเรือง นางจึงทูลวอนขอพระองค์เป็นคู่ครอง
