phālgunasya tṛtīyāyāṃ śuklāyāṃ tu samāpyate | vaiśākhe lavaṇaṃ deyaṃ jyeṣṭhe cājyaṃ pradīyate

วัตรนี้สิ้นสุดในวันติติที่สามแห่งปักษ์สว่าง เดือนผาลคุณะ ในเดือนไวศาขะพึงให้เกลือเป็นทาน และในเดือนเชษฐะพึงถวายเนยใส (ฆี) เป็นทาน
